A classic, comforting pasta dish that comes together quickly, packed with flavour and kid-friendly goodness.
Before you start
Dice onion and garlic while pasta water heats.
Cooking instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil for pasta. Dice the onion and mince the garlic.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned (about 5-7 minutes). Drain any excess fat.
- Add onion and garlic to the skillet, cook until softened (3-4 minutes). Stir in tomato paste, oregano, salt, and pepper, cooking for 1 minute.
- Pour in crushed tomatoes and beef broth. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to medium-low and let it gently simmer while the pasta cooks.
- Cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain well.
- Toss the cooked spaghetti with the Bolognese sauce, or serve sauce over pasta. Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
