Quick Beef Bolognese with Spaghetti
A classic, comforting pasta dish with a rich beef sauce that's ready in a flash, perfect for hungry kids and adults alike.
Cooking instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil for the spaghetti. Cook spaghetti according to package directions.
- While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and let it gently cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve the bolognese sauce over cooked spaghetti, topped with Parmesan cheese if desired.
